Organic team has implemented the updated system of lot numbering according to which tracing of organic products up to the field is easily possible. This lot number system also allows managing small lots of organic products, as this system provides assignment of lot number of the batch, which is being stored at the farm storage. Consequently, preliminary lot number is assigned to the smallest lots of organic products at the farm storage. Such preliminary lot numbers are then transferred into more extensive lot number during further formation of the lot. Consequently, the final lot number includes all information on all preliminary lot numbers, which were assigned to the small lots of products at the farm. This lot numbering system easily allows receiving all accompanying information on the farm, transportation, storage of the organic lot, as well as the time frame of transportation and storage.

The implemented lot numbering system essentially improves the management of lot registration, helping to keep the information on the origin, transportation and storage of the produced volume of organic products at hand.
